Citizens of the Kingdom of Christ

We live as citizens of the United States of America. We  also live as members of the church of Christ, or the Kingdom of Christ. The USA is a democracy, but Jesus Christ is a Monarch. Monarchs exercise absolute power, and their word is carried out through scribes and governors. When Jesus was crowned King, He gave gifts to men. Through Apostles and Prophets, Evangelistes, Pastors and Teachers, local servants execute His will.

Jesus is an unchanging King - Has the United States of America changed? Absolutely. There is no provision in God's word that allows for human councils to make or change the laws. Man is helpless to change them. We must change man to fit God's law and image for our lives. We must study the Bible to determine what The King wants us to do.
